Helsinki Festival's largest one-off urban event, the Night of the Arts, has again attracted huge crowds to the centre of the Finnish capital. According to police estimates, more than 100,000 visitors turned out to enjoy the more than two hundred events organised across the city in the course of Friday evening and the early hours of Saturday. The organisers and the authorities both commended the event, now in its 21st year, for its relaxed atmosphere.
